Built-in Motion Sensor

V-990 has a built-in motion sensor. When motion is detected, it can be awakened immediately; when it is static or has lost satellite signal for over 5 minutes, it will automatically enter standby state to maximally save energy.
An ordinary GPS data logger will still work after the vehicle stops; in such case, it will consume more energy and produce unwanted waypoints data. V-990 innovatively adopts a motion sensor, so it can automatically enter standby state after the vehicle is static for a certain period of time; once the vehicle startup or motion is detected, it will immediately be activated and continue to work. The intelligent working mode will greatly facilitate your daily trip.

As a Data Logger able to Work Independently

As a data logger able to work independently, V-990 can record the most detailed GPS information available currently, including date, time, longitude, latitude, speed, height, heading, voice, positioning mode, positioning type, PDOP, HDOP and VDOP.

Geo Tagging

You may integrate photos taken with any camera and tracks of V-990 to share wonderful travel with your relatives and friends on the map*. V-990 can also support GPS information added to digital photos.
* Third-party map software, such as Google map, Google earth and Panoramio.

Voice Tag

You may notice that it is a unique feature of V-990. V-990 has the function of voice recording, and you can record voice label for POI with the separate record key. As you play back travel track on the map, you can hear voice segments reflecting your personal feeling, convenient and very interesting. The voice label function is especially suitable for voice remarks when collected data is investigated.

One-key POI

You may, during use, manually mark POI (Point of interest) at any time. In playback track, there will be a unique green flag indicating this POI. The manual marking function is especially suitable for the purpose of investigating collected data.

Time Album software

A good data logger still needs practical track processing software. Time Album attached to V-990 can help you freely process track.
Time Album has various personalized settings. It can export track according to distance or time, select metric or imperial unit or record intervals, and support various operating systems including WINDOWS, MAC OS and LINUX.

Fast Positioning

V-990 adopts the currently most advanced and stable MTK 3339 super single chip (MarkII model), with only 35s and 1s required respectively for cold start and warm start. It can realize rapid and stable positioning under various environments including urban district and suburb.

Long Duration

The built-in high-capacity Li-polymer battery can allow you to use the device 36hrs.
